OVRWC Minutes – Tuesday, May 6, 2008 – 7:00 pm

Members present – 15

• Dennis Delbert –Spoke to the club regarding the Ogden 20K plans.  Copies of the Friday night registration layout plans were given to all members attending.  A meeting will be held on Friday, May 19^th for all volunteers involved in the Ogden Events.

Dennis suggested that walkie-talkies be purchased by the club for club race events.  A motion was made by John Nally to make the purchase, second by Denny Stephan.  Motion carried.

A volunteer T-shirt was discussed to be selected and purchased.  A black shirt with gold lettering with the club logo was chosen.

Dennis spoke to the club regarding the May31st. Autism Walk.  He invited members to participate.  Marti Stephan made a motion to make a club donation, the same dollar amount as the donation made last year, second by Tony Purpura.  Motion carried.

• Denny Stephan spoke to the club regarding the Ogden 20K plans.  He also commented the recent concerns regarding the race walking techniques of a club member.  Dennis also commented.

• Dennis Delbert - Dennis introduced John Nally, director of Pharmacy at Ohio Valley Hospital.  John spoke to the club regarding vitamin and vitamin supplements.

A question/answer session followed his presentation.

Refreshments were served by club members, John and Mary Anne Bartsch.
