Board of Directors Meeting - Wednesday, February 25, 2009 – 7:00 pm

Present - Dennis Delbert, President, Denny Stephan, 2nd. VP, Diane Basich, Secretary, Marti Stephan, Treasurer, John Bartsch, Quality Assurance, Angela Zambito, Membership, Bill Freyler, Communications, Wayne McCracken, Member at Large, Rob Miller, Member at Large, Cindy Foose, Social Director and Mike Hudimac, Awards Coordinator

• The Board discussed the following issues:

• Race Timing System
• Race Director Agreement
• Club Social/Fundraiser Projects

After a discussion regarding the above issues, the following action was being taken.

                       Timing System –

Denny Stephan presented the timing system to the board.  The Summit Racing System consisted of 2 timers, bar code reader, laptop, printer, and excel program spreadsheet.

Denny Stephan and Mike Hudimac demonstrated the timing process to the board.  The board tested the race timer and the racing results were completed in minutes.  The timer is planned to be used at the Webark 5K Run, with George Fraiser timing the race.

Race Director Agreement -

The Race Director Agreement was reviewed and confirmed into the final document.  The Race Director Agreement will be implemented at the start of the 2009 racing season.  A race directors meeting is being planned to present this new agreement.

      Club Fundraiser/Social –

Dennis spoke to the club about bringing back the Steak Fry  the club sponsored a few years ago.  It was also suggested, by Angela Zambito, for the club to sponsor a “Pasta Night” prior to the Odgen 20K.  The board will discuss the above activities at future meetings.
