OVRWC Minutes – Tuesday,  Aug 5, 2008 – 7:00 pm

Members present – 24

• Dennis Delbert –spoke to club members stating the meeting would be an open forum meeting.  Newsletter update.  Co-editor, Trilby Henderson resigned.  The club discussed the future of the newsletter.  Angela Zambito and Marti Stephan will publish the July/August newsletter.   It was suggested the club form a committee to continue the newsletter.  Angela Zambito, along with Cindy Foose, Teresa Landefeld and Denise Miller agreed to work as a committee.

• Merri Cummings – spoke to the club regarding the Saucony Grant.  The grant is for $10,000 and involves kids activities.  We will know more about this grant in September. 

• Cindy Foose –Spoke to the club about the Barkcamp 5K, 10K run and the need of volunteers.

• Dennis Delbert- introduced guest speaker, Mr. Ted Rouse.  Ted shared his trip experiences to Munich, Germany.

A question/answer session followed his presentation.

Refreshments were served.
