A Little about Myself
My name is Dennis Delbert and I have been a competitive runner for the past thirty-five years. I've coached for another twenty and currently assist many area runners in their individual running programs. I do not claim to be a guru, a doctor, nor do I think I am a know-it-all by any means, but in those thirty-five years one should learn something even if by accident. In 1999 I opened the area's only specialty running store. In these eight years, I have helped many runners and walkers and find satisfaction in giving back to the sport I have enjoyed the last three decades. The intention of my columns will be to inform, entertain, and educate you the reader and to also get some input from you regarding what topics you would like to see addressed. I would also like to have an interactive relationship with the readers. So if you have any questions please don't hesitate to drop me an email. I will do my best to answer questions ranging from training to injuries to diet, etc. and if I don't know something I will do my best to find somebody who does! Please include the word coach in your subject line.
